Please join us for our meeting on Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 11:30 am to 1:15 pm (Virtual Program begins at 12:15 pm).

For the first time, five distinct generations are represented in the workplace: Traditionalists born before 1945; Baby Boomers born between 1945 and 1965; Generation X born between 1966 and 1985; Millennials/Generation Y born between 1986 and 1997; and Generation Z born after 1997. Each of these generations has its own values, attitudes, work ethic and motivations, potentially creating workplace challenges.

Three public works panel members will represent different generational perspectives. Pre-prepared topics and questions from attendees will round out the discussion.

The cost for In-Person Attendance is $45 for Members, $55 for Non-Members, $30 for First-Time Attendees and Young Professionals, and No Charge for Students. The cost for Virtual is $20. APWA members and non-members need to create a username and password in order to register.
